My subjects can range from portraits and landscapes, to crashing waves on the beach, to vibrant sunsets, and even to abstracts. I love to work in multiple projects from digital drawings and manipulations, to things I can get my hands dirty with. My most recent pieces are in soft pastel, watercolor, and digital design. My Medium
Watercolor has become a new love after putting it aside for several years. I have even incorporated my watercolor artwork as the basis for some of my pastel pieces. I have become fascinated with painting abstract faces. I believe I have done over 100 of them in the last few months.
My Inspiration
My Inspiration
My artistic inspiration is hard to pin down. So many things catch my eye, be it the ocean, trees, clouds or a beautiful landscape. Vacations mean a chance for hundreds of new photos to use for my artwork and add to my binders of projects. I will never breathe long enough to paint all the things that inspire me and I have found that I have never met a tree I didn't want to paint.
