New Paintings

  Recently I have been spending my creative time on working with soft pastels.  They are very messy and I had to create aprons just to work with them.  I say "had to create" with a smile since my other creative outlet is sewing.  I made a custom pattern for my aprons and I have about six of them scattered around the studio in different locations.  I can grab whichever fun fabric suits me, and then toss them in the washer when they get too dirty, which happens quite often.

  I finished my Caribbean series and I have been bouncing back and forth with fantasy pieces and florals.  I love doing beach scenes but my creativity is itching to paint some wild sunflowers, or crazy waves or even a multi-colored sunset.  What can I say, I am an artist that loves color!
